Places of God Experience

People who long for personal God experience go searching for places and persons who give such experiences. Mount Carmel in Israel is said to be one of such places where in early centuries Prophet Elijah had helped people have God experience. It has also connections with Mother Mary’s personal interventions. Interestingly it is a holy place for Jews, Muslims, Christians and others. Recently I had a chance to be there and found people in silent contemplation and praying.

Holy places, it is true, can help us feel the closeness of our Creator and today we need common spiritual zones where we all can pray to our loving God who created us all.
